Indirekte Rede

(Indirect speech)


Einführung

Wir verwenden indirekte Rede, um zu berichten, was jemand anderes gesagt hat: Wenn Sie jemandem sagen möchten, was jemand anderes gesagt hat, können Sie einfach seine Worte (direkte Rede) wiederholen: (wir verwenden Anführungszeichen, wenn wir etwas in direkter Rede schreiben)

oder Sie können indirekte Rede verwenden:

Form

Wenn die indirekte Rede verwendet wird, ist das Hauptberichtsverb des Satzes in der Regel in der Vergangenheitsform: Das Präsens in der direkten Rede wird in der Regel für die indirekte Rede in die Vergangenheitsform geändert:

"I'm going to the park." She said that she was going to the park.
"You must report to the manager." He told me that I had to report to the manager.
"We will do it." They said that they would do it.
"Ana can swim very well." I said that Ana could swim very well.

Das Simple Past in der direkten Rede kann bei der indirekten Rede Simple Past bleiben oder zu Plusquamperfekt werden:

direkte Rede indirekte Rede
"I arrived late, so they sacked me." He said that he arrived late, so they sacked him.
He said that he had arrived late, so they had sacked him.

Bei der indirekten Rede können Sie das Wort „that“ weglassen:
  • I said that she should have seen a doctor.
  • I said she should have seen a doctor.

Vervollständigen Sie die indirekte Rede durch Änderung der Zeit des Verbs der direkten Rede:

Wenn Sie indirekte Rede verwenden, müssen Sie daran denken, die Subjekt- und Objektpronomen zu ändern:

"I'm late for work." April said that she was late for work.
"I will give you the box." Tom said that he would give me the box.

Wir müssen auch Adverbien und Adverbialphrasen des Ortes und der Zeit ändern:

"We will arrive tomorrow." They said they would arrive the next day.
"The diary is here in my office." He told me that the diary was there in his office.

Übung 2

Vervollständigen Sie die indirekte Rede mit den richtigen Pronomen:

Wenn die berichtete Situation zum Zeitpunkt der Berichterstattung noch Gültigkeit hat, ist es nicht notwendig, die Verbform für die indirekte Rede zu ändern:

direkte Rede indirekte Rede
"I love my new house!" Mary said that she loves her new house.
(Dies stimmt immer noch. Sie liebt ihr Haus immer noch.)

Aber es ist auch korrekt, die Zeitform des Verbs zu ändern:

"I love my new house!" Mary said that she loved her new house.

In den folgenden Fällen müssen Sie die Zeitform des Verbs ändern:


Wenn wir über Aufträge, Befehle oder Anfragen berichten, verwenden wir „tell" oder „ask" und den Infinitiv mit „to":
