Czasu Past Perfect uzywamy mówiac o:

wydarzeniach z przeszlosci, które mialy miejsce wczesniej, niz inne, przeszle wydarzenia
faktach lub doswiadczeniach, które byly prawdziwe przed danym wydarzeniem z przeszlosci.

Przyklady:

They had taken many French lessons by the time they moved to France.
W przeszlosci wyjechali do Francji. Wczesniej pobierali lekcje francuskiego.

Forma

Past Perfect tworzymy przy uzyciu czasownika "had" i czasownika w trzeciej formie, tzw. past participle:
