Wstep

Future Simple używamy mówiąc o przyszłości w następujących sytuacjach:

• przewidywanie
• spontaniczne decyzje
• propozycje
• obietnice.

Przykłady

• "We’re having a picnic tomorrow. It will rain."
• "Will you go to the party?" "Hmm ... yes, I will go to the party."
• "You look tired. I will make you a cup of tea."
• "I will finish the work tomorrow."

Zdania w Future Simple zawierające przewidywania, zazwyczaj zaczynają się od czasownika "think", na przykład:

I You We They	think don't think
He She It	thinks doesn't think

Przykłady

• I think she will win the match.
• She doesn't think they will arrive on time.

Dla "I" i "we" możemy użyć "shall" zamiast "will" - dzięki temu zdanie nabierze bardziej formalnego tonu:

• I shall go to the party.
• We shall visit him later.

Pytania zwykle zawierają sugestię:

• Shall we go to the cinema?
• Shall I open the window?

Nie używaj "will" mówiąc o planach i ustaleniach, na które już się zdecydowałeś. W tym przypadku należy użyć konstrukcji "going to" lub czasu Present Continuous.

• I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow.
• She's going to visit her aunt at the weekend.

Użyj "will" + czasownika w bezokoliczniku (bez "to")
